Rooted in a desire to bring light to dark places, this visionary filmmaker is on a mission to tell hilarious and impactful stories through Sueñito Media—a company dedicated to creating film and media that prioritizes diversity, mental health, and community. The foundation of her mission stems from personal battles with severe anxiety and suicidal ideation, experiences that now fuel her passion for providing resources and joy to those who, like her younger self, may be navigating life without adequate support.

Her journey began in school choirs and community theater, ultimately leading to formal studies in theatre—though she now reflects that communications may have been a better fit for her entrepreneurial path. Despite not fitting the stereotypical mold of a Hollywood ingenue, she carved out her place in the industry through grit, creative drive, and the DRAESIS program, where she learned how to establish a film company from the ground up.

Today, Sueñito Media produces short films, animations, and mental health documentaries, while also offering consulting services on disability, creativity, and product management. What truly sets the company apart is its warmth and personalized attention—traits that empower collaborators and clients alike. Her leadership has taken the company to exceptional heights, including an invitation to the White House under the Biden administration in recognition of their mental health advocacy, and a screening of their first feature film at Paramount.

A major pivot came when her cofounder exited unexpectedly, revealing both the burdens she had carried and the freedom to shape her company’s future. That turning point allowed her to elevate more women into leadership roles and strengthen her company’s values.

Entirely self-funded through acting and social media work, Thea now seeks visionary investors to support Sueñito Media’s expansion. Her story is proof that even in adversity, purpose can flourish—and from one woman’s healing journey, a beacon of hope and creativity has emerged.
