Raised between the breathtaking landscapes of Vancouver Island and the vibrant spirit of Birmingham, Alabama, Odette Sugerman is a bold, bicultural artist whose life and work are rooted in fearless creativity and reinvention. Her journey began in Beverly Hills at the iconic José Eber Salon, where she honed her understanding of beauty and personal style. She later graduated at the top of her class from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), majoring in Fashion.

Odette’s early design work landed her a role at Guess Jeans, where her talent quickly captured the attention of fashion legend Paul Marciano. This marked the start of a decade-long creative partnership that would define much of her career. Teaching herself photography, she reconnected with Marciano, becoming one of Guess’s top fashion photographers for over 12 years. Her directorial debut—creating a commercial for Guess Jeans on YouTube—set the tone for a dynamic shift into motion storytelling.
Odette’s photography portfolio includes fashion editorials, swimwear, lingerie campaigns, and high-profile celebrity shoots. Her work has been featured in Italian Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue Italia, and campaigns with stars like Kate Beckinsale, Pamela Anderson, Hugh Hefner, Michael Phelps, Paris Hilton, and Terrence Howard. She remains the only woman to shoot three celebrity Playboy covers and contribute to three of Playboy’s iconic coffee table books.

Expanding into directing, she has created fashion films and music videos, including Dove Cameron’s breakout video for Sony Records, which amassed over 3 million views in its first week and was featured in Rolling Stone. She continues to collaborate with Pamela Anderson and HGTV on creative projects.
Now splitting her time between Los Angeles and a remote island near Vancouver, Odette finds joy chasing whales and grizzlies in her vintage boat, Lil Bandit.
With her production company, Sugar Punch Club, Odette continues to shoot, produce, and direct powerful visual stories—proving that reinvention is not only possible, but truly empowering.
