Born in Russia in the year of the Water Rat, Linda Rosenfeld is an accomplished filmmaker whose diverse artistic background spans advertising, music, art, and yoga.
With nine years of extensive experience in advertising, she cultivated a keen eye for visual storytelling, which became instrumental in shaping her career as a film director.
Since 2003, Rosenfeld has lived and worked across multiple countries, including Egypt, Italy, the UK, Cambodia, Belgium, and India, immersing herself in various cultures while developing independent film projects. Her directorial debut, Dubliner (2019), was met with great success, solidifying her passion for filmmaking. Rosenfeld not only directed but also played a role in Dubliner, incorporating elements of her own dreams into the film’s docufiction narrative.
Since 2017, she has actively directed and produced films, further establishing herself in the independent cinema landscape. Her screenwriting credits include When You Are Near or Mekong Express Arrives at 01:08 and Remember… Remember. Originally envisioned as a feature film, When You Are Near resulted in an 18-minute production, with dialogues crafted by Alan Dean (UK). The full version of the story—a feature-length spiritual quest and love story—could be implemented upon budget availability, featuring the best of Cambodian sites at any time.
